Matt Lee

Matt co-founded Northern Yard Partners in 2024, leading sourcing, due diligence, deal execution, and strategic oversight while working alongside partner companies.

Prior to Northern Yard, Matt was with TPG, one of the world's largest private equity firms, leading business services investments including Halo Branded Solutions, Morrow Sodali, and Keter Environmental Services. In 2020, he partnered with Redwood Services to build an essential home services company spanning HVAC, plumbing, and electric.

Redwood has since partnered with over 15 local business owners to form a leading national-scale company. Matt was a founding investor and remains an active Senior Advisor. He began his career at Credit Suisse in investment banking within the Financial Sponsors Group.

Matt holds an A.B. in Government from Harvard College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
